Yvonne Urry

Student Research Assistant -  Youth Transitions Study

I joined this project during my first year of the Applied Masters in Social Work as a young person locater and interviewer. The young people that I meet never cease to inspire and amaze me. I am impressed with the level of commitment many of them have to this project and the reflections and observations that they make. I feel honoured that they continue to engage with the project year after year. I am currently involved in other aspects of the research, including data collection and analysis. I have come into Social Work with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Gender and Women studies. I am a writer, musician and belong to an artist’s collective.

Listen to Yvonne talk about the project here.
