Katie Stevens

Principal Research Analyst at the Families Commission, based in Wellington

Katie is trained and worked as a Social Worker in Auckland and overseas before moving into research in 2001.

Katie’s research interests are in child welfare, youth resilience and programme/policy evaluation. Katie is working on the Pathways to Resilience and Transitions research projects carrying out data extraction and analysis and has written several policy documents which provide valuable background information to the research.

Katie is studying for a PhD researching young people’s experiences of services. More information on Katie is available here.
